Vin Santo This wine is distinguished by grapes that come from a South-facing vineyard just below the ancient village of San Gennaro. They are hand selected when perfectly mature and what distinguishes this wine is that no Muscat grapes are added to it during fermentation. It is a deep ruby red wine, with a decisive, round body; its nose is intense and lingering, with a note of red berry fruits. It is quite an austere wine, which is at its best when decanted for the proper time.
